Gamers Are Waiting For Call Of Duty Black Ops by Walker Wild

The latest video game, Call of Duty Black Ops, is about to be released on 9th November 2010, and the world awaits it with abated breath. Two trailers, the Uncut Trailer and a Debut Tease Trailer, have already been released in a world exclusive debut release through Game Trailers. Gamers from all parts of the world can be a part of Call of Duty Black Ops. Treyarch, who released the trailers, is selling game and console separately.

Trailer Review

A review of the trailers indicates that a powerful, wary statement has been created by the game programmers and designers. The trailer indicates that the storyline involves a killing machine that has been rejuvenated in response to the Call of Duty. This trailer was released seven months before the release of Call of Duty Black Ops. The game makers are confident that it will take the world of gamer communities by a storm with its salient features.

Technical Features

There will be dedicated servers for the PC gamers, separate co-op, and competitive multiplayer. The special features include remote detonated RC cars, a "ballistic knife," and a video editing and recording feature. The setting suggests that players might be fighting the Vietnamese, but the lead character seems to have a secret agenda.

Call of Duty Black Ops can be played on Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Microsoft PC. But, the console and the game will have to be bought separately for Xbox 360. The Cold War seems to be the setting of the game, which takes place in Russia, Cuba, and Vietnam. The game seems to be full of extreme war action and violent forces. Motion capture technology has been used like the one used in Avatar movie, enabling the recognition of facial expressions of the characters.

Perks: There are some confirmed enemies in this game. Here, the players have to proceed behind the enemy lines with covert operations. The perks of the game include the following: there is no Commando; one-man army is removed; two perks can be chosen by the players and a third perk will be given on the basis of these two perks; the player's armor system includes Juggernaut and Cold Blooded; and equipments cannot be replenished by scavengers. M-16s, Huey, and AK-47 are the gadgets being used from the days of the Vietnamese war.

Weapons: Shotguns have dragon's breath round and scoped crossbow has ammunition options. Scavengers can replenish grenades but not claymore. M16 is back in Black Ops as a high-accuracy, high-powered weapon, but M4 family guns are not there. A fully automatic FAMAS weapon is used and the new weapons that have been introduced include PSG1, RPK, MAC11, SIG commando and Skorpion.

Killstreaks: For 15 kills, there is a reward for the highest killstreaks, but it will not be counted for the next killstreak. The next killstreak award can only be earned through the main weapon. UAV and pavelow are back in the game. Two different types of helicopters can be earned as killstreaks and you can pilot them. Care Package award is included, but Emergency Airdrop has been eliminated. SR-71 Blackbird is the new killstreak reward which will enable you to provide intelligence and do reconnaissance of the enemy's hideout locations.

Call of Duty Black Ops deals basically with the Vietnam War which was very unpopular. As such, Treyarch seems to have taken a huge risk, but he wants to give an identity to the game.

Slated for release on November 9, 2010, Call of Duty Black Ops has some unique features for the gamers. It is set as the Vietnam War and the trailer reviews predict that it will be successful.
